Language requirements
- For programs in Romanian:
- Romanian proficiency certificate (at least B1).
- Scholarship students are exempt if they choose programmes that require a preparatory year to study the Romanian language.
- For programs in English:
- English language proficiency certificate (TOEFL/IELTS 6.5).
- An exemption is possible if the student has studied in English for at least four years, or if he or she is from a country where the official language is English.
- For programs in French:
- DALF certificate (B2).
- For programs in German:
- German Sprachdiplom (C1) or Goethe-Zertifikat (B1, B2, C1).

- Answer to the essay question: (100 words) on “What are the salient issues you recommend for this grant?”
- 3 letters of recommendation.
- Motivation letter: one page maximum.
- Curriculum Vitae (CV): European style, highlighting notable achievements.

- A copy certified by the competent authorities and a certified translation (in English/French/Romanian if necessary):
