About the scholarship
The Tomorrow's Leaders Scholarship 2025-2026 is a program designed to support outstanding students from the Middle East and North Africa region to pursue their undergraduate or graduate studies at top international universities. The scholarship is administered by the U.S.-Middle East Partnership Initiative (AMIDEAST) in collaboration with the U.S. Department of State. The scholarship aims to empower students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds who demonstrate outstanding leadership potential. Application requirements
Bachelor's Program:
- Senior high school students and applicants who graduated from high school in 2024.
- Applicants from Iraq, Libya, Syria, the West Bank/Gaza, and Yemen who graduated from high school in 2023 are also eligible.
- Maintain high academic achievement and pass final exams after applying.
- Strong academic achievements.
- Maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English. A TOEFL or IELTS score is not required at the time of application, but it is required of eligible students, and they will be supported to take the TOEFL or IELTS test.
- Ability to travel and start the undergraduate program in August 2025.
- Proof of financial need. Applicants must be economically and socially eligible and must provide supporting financial documentation as required.
Master's Program:
- Strong academic achievements.
- Maturity, adaptability, and leadership potential.
- Proof of English language fluency as required by the specific graduate program.
- Commitment to completing their Master's studies within two academic years.
- Ability to travel and start the Master's program in August 2025.
- Complete the admission requirements at the host university. Additional information is available on the website.
- Proof of financial need. Applicants must be economically and socially eligible and must provide supporting financial documentation as required.
