Eligibility requirements
- Obtain a bachelor's degree in a related field, such as computer engineering, communications engineering, or computer science.
- English language proficiency (TOEFL, IELTS, or equivalent).
- Provide a certificate proving completion of at least 30 European credits in mathematics/applied mathematics, including courses in probability theory, statistics, and linear algebra.
- Submit a certificate proving completion of 60 European credits in computer engineering or equivalent, including a course in object-oriented programming.
English language requirements
To ensure your ability to study and participate effectively in the program, you must demonstrate your English language proficiency through one of the following options. Please read each item carefully to avoid any problems during application.
1. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test:
- Type: There are several types of TOEFL tests that are accepted, namely:
- TOEFL CBT (Computer-Based Test): The minimum acceptable score is 210 .
- TOEFL IBT (Internet-Based Test): The minimum acceptable score is 78 .
- TOEFL PBT (Paper-Based Test): The minimum acceptable score is 547 .
- TOEFL ITP® Plus for China: Minimum acceptable score is 543 .
- TOEFL iBT® Special Home Edition (for home): Also accepted with the same minimum score as the iBT ( 78 ).
2. IELTS Academic Test:
- Minimum acceptable: 6.0 points .
- Note: Your results must be current and valid upon application. Expired results are not accepted.
3. Cambridge English Test:
- Acceptable type:
- CPE (Certificate of Proficiency in English): A grade of C or higher is required .
- CAE (Certificate of Advanced English): Grade C or above required .
4. English as a Language of Instruction (Exemption from Test):
- If you completed your undergraduate or high school education in one of the following countries, you can provide proof that the language of instruction was English instead of taking a language test:
- EU/EEA countries.
- Switzerland.
- USA.
- Canada.
- UK.
- Ireland
- Australia.
- New Zealand
- Required Document:
There must be a clear mention of the language of instruction in one of the following official documents:- Graduation certificate.
- Official transcript.
- Diploma supplement.
- Any other official document issued by the educational institution.
5. Validity of language certificates:
- English language test results must be valid at the time of application.
- Validity: Most certificates such as TOEFL and IELTS are valid for two years from the date of issue.
- Important Note: If your certificate is expired when you apply, your application will not be accepted.
6. Non-acceptance of other certificates:
- Any language certificates other than those listed above will not be accepted.
- For example:
- Certificates from universities or private educational institutions.
- Personal statements or letters of recommendation indicating your level of English proficiency.
7. If you have not graduated yet:
- If you are still completing your bachelor's degree and expect to graduate soon, you can submit a current transcript showing the subjects you have completed so far.
- Note: You must submit your final graduation certificate before the final registration date (September 2025) if you are accepted into the program.
Important Notes
- Not accepting grades below the minimum:
- If you do not meet the minimum requirements on any of the tests, your application will not be accepted.
- Submit additional documents:
- If you are relying on proof of language of instruction rather than a language test, make sure you provide the correct supporting documentation.
- Verify the validity of certificates:
- Make sure your language certificates are valid when you apply. If they have expired, you will need to retake the test.
- Exempt countries:
- Students who studied in English in the above-mentioned countries are exempt from taking a language test, but must provide official proof.
