Kütahya Dumlupınar University
It is a public university in Kütahya Province, Turkey. Its origins date to 1974 with an educational unit affiliated with the Eskişehir Academy of Economics and Commercial Sciences. After several structural changes, the university was officially established on July 11, 1992, as part of a regional higher education reorganization.
The university expanded mainly after 1993, especially through vocational institutes. In 2018, it adopted the name Kütahya Dumlupınar University, while some health faculties were transferred to the newly founded Kütahya University of Health Sciences.
The university has three main campuses in Kütahya city center, Simav, and Tavşanlı, with additional units across eight districts. The Evliya Çelebi Campus is the largest, covering over 7,500 decares and reflecting Ottoman and Seljuk architectural influences.
