Kırıkkale Üniversitesi

Kırıkkale Üniversitesi is a prominent public university in the Central Anatolia region. It was officially established on July 3, 1992, by Law No. 3837, having previously been affiliated with Ankara University and Gazi University. The university is located in Kırıkkale, an industrial and cultural city approximately 70 kilometers east of Ankara, the capital, giving it a strategic position near the political and academic heart of Turkey.

The university is a comprehensive academic institution, comprising more than 12 faculties, graduate schools, and vocational schools, offering a wide range of engineering, medical, and humanities disciplines. Kırıkkale Üniversitesi is particularly strong in engineering and technical sciences due to its proximity to major industrial and military facilities in the city (such as state-owned machinery and chemical plants), which facilitates students' access to internships and practical experience during their studies.

The university adopts a vision to be a leading institution in scientific research and technological development at the national and international levels, and continuously strives to update its educational programs to meet the changing needs of the labor market. The university also boasts a spacious and modern campus (known as the Yahşihan Campus), which provides all the necessary academic, social, and athletic facilities for students.
