The university includes a diverse range of colleges, most notably:

• Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (in Turkish).
• Faculty of Human Medicine (in Turkish).
• Faculty of Health Sciences: Nursing.
• Faculty of Education.
• Faculty of Sharia and Islamic Sciences.
• Faculty of Engineering and Architecture: Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Food Engineering.
• Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences: History, Geography, Turkish Language and Literature.
• Faculty of Economic and Administrative Sciences: Business Administration, Economics.
• Faculty of Agriculture: Agricultural Engineering, Soil and Plant Sciences.

The university adopts a flexible policy in accepting international students, and the priorities are as follows:

Unified YÖS Exam (TR-YÖS):

• Average grades may be accepted
• The minimum score is between 200-250 out of 500 for general application.
• For human and veterinary medicine, higher scores (300+) are preferred.

International Certificates (SAT):

• Accept the SAT 1 test with a minimum score of 1000/1600 for good competition.

Secondary school certificate (Tawjihi/Baccalaureate):

• Only high school GPA is accepted for applications.
• The minimum requirement is a grade of no less than 60% for general application.
• For health and engineering specializations, grades exceeding 75% are preferred.

Essential documents required (for online application):

• A recent personal photo.
• A copy of a valid passport.
• Original high school diploma translated into Turkish and certified.
• The grade reports are translated into Turkish and certified.
• Exam result document (SAT or TR-YÖS).

Additional documents (upon final confirmation or for postgraduate studies):

Equivalence Certificate:

• A document proving the equivalence of the high school diploma to the Turkish diploma (obtained from the Turkish embassy or the Directorate of Education in Türkiye).

Turkish Language Proficiency Certificate (TÖMER):

• Level B2 or C1 is usually required. If the student does not have this level, they must take an exemption exam at the university or study a preparatory year for the language.

For postgraduate studies:

• Motivation letter.
• Letters of recommendation.
• Summary of the Master's thesis (for PhD applicants).

The university follows a relatively fixed annual calendar for international students, and data will be updated as it becomes available:

Application period begins (first round):

It usually opens in July.

Application deadline:

Applications will be accepted for approximately two weeks, ending in late July.

Results announcement:

It takes place in the middle of August.

Vacancy selection (second selection):

The university often announces a second round in September to fill vacant seats.

The selection process:

• The entire process is done online via the university website.
• It is based on a points system where TR-YÖS scores are given priority.
• Quotas are allocated for rare specializations such as veterinary medicine.
