Islamic Development Bank Scholarship Programs:
The Islamic Development Bank offers four main scholarship programs, covering various academic levels and fields of study:
1- Islamic Development Bank Excellence Scholarship Program (MSP) - PhD and Post-Doctoral:
- Fully funded scholarships for doctoral and postdoctoral research.
- Open to citizens of IDB member countries.
- Scholars can study at any prestigious university in the world.
2- Master of Science Scholarship from the Islamic Development Bank:
- Open to students from the least developed member countries of the Islamic Development Bank.
- Candidates must secure admission to a highly ranked university (top 1000 universities according to the Times Higher Education rankings).
- Eligible countries: Afghanistan, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Maldives, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Togo, Uganda, Yemen, Palestine.
3- Islamic Development Bank Scholarship for Muslim Communities in Non-Member Countries (SPMC) - Bachelor’s Degree:
- Designed specifically for Muslim students in non-IsDB member countries.
- Covers undergraduate studies in medicine, engineering, technology, agriculture and related fields.
- Available at recognized universities in students' countries.
- Eligible countries: Australia, Canada, Croatia, Ethiopia, Fiji, Germany, Ghana, India, Kenya, Madagascar, Malawi, Myanmar, Namibia, Nepal, Netherlands, Russia, Rwanda, Singapore, South Africa, Sri Lanka, Tanzania, Thailand, Philippines, Trinidad and Tobago, Vietnam, Zambia, Liberia, Cambodia, Mauritius, Macedonia.
4- Islamic Development Bank and Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development Scholarship for Least Developed Member Countries (LDMCs) - Bachelor’s and Technical Diploma:
- Open to students from the 21 least developed member countries of the Islamic Development Bank.
- Bachelor's degrees and technical diplomas are included in medicine, engineering, agriculture and other major fields.
- The study takes place at partner universities in Malaysia, Morocco and Turkey.
- Eligible countries: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Benin, Burkina Faso, Chad, Comoros, Djibouti, Gambia, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Niger, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, Sudan, Togo, Uganda, Yemen.

What the grant does not cover:

Eligibility criteria
For undergraduate level:
- The applicant must not be over 21 years old.
- Not to be enrolled in a Turkish university with the same academic degree for which he wants to apply.
- His high school average must not be less than 70% for all specializations and 90% for medical group specializations (human medicine, dentistry, pharmacy).
- To have graduated or be about to graduate from high school.
For Master's degree:
- The applicant must not be more than 30 years old.
- Bachelor's degree GPA should not be less than 75%.
- Bring a transcript of grades up to the last semester you studied if you have not graduated yet.
For PhD level:
- The applicant must not be more than 35 years old.
- Master's degree GPA should not be less than 75%.
- Bring a transcript of grades up to the last semester if you have not graduated yet.
