For Master's:

  1. Apply to the study program as a full-time student (application fee: $50).
  2. Obtaining a bachelor’s degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.0/4.0 .
  3. Proof of English language proficiency:
    • TOEFL ITP: 525.
    • TOEFL iBT: 80.
    • PTE Academic: 58.
    • IELTS: 6.5.
    • Exempt from this certificate: Students who speak English as their mother tongue or whose language of study in the previous stage was English.
  4. Proof of Arabic Language Proficiency (TOAFL):
    • Only required for applicants to the College of Islamic Studies if they are from non-Arabic speaking countries.
    • Students who speak Arabic as their mother tongue or whose language of study in the previous stage was Arabic are exempt from this certificate .
  5. Submit an academic letter of recommendation.
  6. Submit a letter of motivation explaining the reasons for choosing the program.

For PhD:

  1. Apply to the study program as a full-time student (application fee: $50).
  2. Obtaining a master’s degree with a cumulative GPA of no less than 3.5/4.0 .
  3. Proof of English language proficiency:
    • TOEFL ITP: 550.
    • TOEFL iBT: 94.
    • PTE Academic: 65.
    • IELTS: 7.0.
    • Exempt from this certificate: Students who speak English as their mother tongue or whose language of study in the previous stage was English.
  4. Proof of Arabic Language Proficiency (TOAFL):
    • Only required for applicants to the College of Islamic Studies if they are from non-Arabic speaking countries.
    • Students who speak Arabic as their mother tongue or whose language of study in the previous stage was Arabic are exempt from this certificate .
  5. Submit a research proposal outlining the field of study for the doctoral dissertation.
  6. Submit an academic writing sample or research paper relevant to your field.
  7. Submit an academic letter of recommendation.
  8. Submit a letter of motivation explaining the reasons for choosing the program.
