The Stipendium Hungaricum , the Hungarian Government's prestigious higher education scholarship program, offers a wide range of courses to high-achieving international students with an excellent academic record. The scholarship aims to support the internationalization and continued development of Hungarian higher education, strengthen the international relations of the academic and research community, and enhance the good reputation and global competitiveness of Hungarian higher education.
The program is supervised by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and administered by the Tempus Public Foundation. Based on bilateral education agreements between Hungary and the sending governments, it is available in more than 90 countries across five continents and attracts tens of thousands of international students annually. The program offers approximately 800 degree programs across all scientific and literary fields at all degree levels, including part-time and doctoral programs.
