Application requirements
- General Conditions:
- The minimum number of years of study required to obtain a high school diploma or its equivalent must be 12 years, including 3 years in secondary school.
- The secondary school certificate must be equivalent to a secondary school certificate issued by the United Arab Emirates.
- Students who have previously been expelled from another university for disciplinary or academic reasons are not accepted.
- The date of obtaining the high school certificate must not be more than two years old.
- The student must be between 16 and 20 years old at the time of application.
- Admission requirements for undergraduate programs:
- Admission is based on the type of secondary school certificate and the required grade for each program.
- Successfully pass the personal interview (if required).
- For the Economics and Management program, a score of at least 70% in English is required in high school.
- International students (non-native Arabic speakers) are subject to an Arabic language placement test. If they do not achieve the required level, they will be enrolled in the intensive Arabic language program for one or two semesters at most.
Required documents
- Original high school certificate: The high school certificate must be accredited and recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Original transcripts: include transcripts for secondary school grades (tenth, eleventh, and twelfth).
- Authentication of all certificates: All certificates must be authenticated by the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the country issuing the certificate, and the UAE Embassy in the relevant country.
- Translation of foreign certificates: Foreign certificates must be legally translated into Arabic or English and certified.
- Proof of recognition by the Ministry of Education: You must provide proof that the Ministry of Education in the country in which the certificate was issued recognizes the school or institute that granted the certificate.
- Passport translation: The passport must be translated into Arabic and the translated photo must be certified.
- Complete application form: The online application form must be completed accurately and all required documents must be uploaded.
- Passport copy: The passport must be valid for at least two years.
- Personal photos: 12 recent color passport photos (3x4) with a white background.
- Criminal record certificate: A criminal record certificate approved by the student’s country of citizenship must be submitted.
- A copy of the birth certificate: A copy of the birth certificate or evidence thereof must be provided (with a legal translation if the data is written in a language other than Arabic or English).
- Health Certificate: A health certificate issued by a government hospital stating that the student is free from infectious diseases must be submitted.
