Eligibility criteria
- Applicants must be international students at the time of awarding the scholarship.
- Recipients of an International Research Training Programme (RTP) scholarship are expected to undertake a full-time postgraduate research program. A part-time RTP scholarship may be approved if the University is satisfied that special circumstances exist beyond the student's control (such as medical conditions, financial hardship, or carer responsibilities).
A part-time scholarship may have tax implications, and students should seek tax advice from a registered tax agent. - Applicants must apply for an RTP scholarship when applying for a postgraduate course and must submit the required supporting documents in the manner specified on the Scholarship Office website.

- For PhD programs, the age must be less than 40 years .
- A good academic record is required.
